Toboggan run

The new toboggan run snakes it’s way over a distance of 2.5 km from Spitz down to Scheidmattenstrasse. Hike from Aeschiried up to the ski hut and on to the bend below the Spitz. The way to the start of the toboggan run is signposted from the Aeschiried car park. The view over the lake or alternately the sea of fog is stunningly beautiful from this point. When you have reached the marked start of the toboggan run, enjoy a thrilling descent back to Aeschiried.

New panoramic swing on the toboggan run

The new panoramic swing in Aeschiried is a spectacular addition to the region.
Located directly at the official starting point of the popular Aeschiried toboggan run, it offers visitors a breathtaking view of the mountains of the Bernese Oberland.
Thanks to the collaboration between Aeschi Tourism and the local founders of the toboggan run, Niklaus von Känel and Lorenz Graf, an impressive panoramic swing has been installed above the Aeschiallmend. The new attraction at the start of the toboggan run offers visitors a special reward in the form of a breathtaking view.
The Aeschiried panoramic swing was created as part of the NRP project ‘Repositioning the municipality of Aeschi as a family destination’.

Tobogganing hill

On the tobogganning hill in Aeschiried, children can have fun with their toboggans, bobsleds and fun slides. The cross-country ski rental is right next door, you can watch your children from the terrace of the Panorama restaurant or enjoy a fine coffee in the ski bar.
