Children’s Themed Trails

The Children’s Themed Trails in Aeschi offer play and fun for the whole family. On the treasure hunt path you will discover clues which will give you access to the treasure. The Treasure Hunt and the  Mini-Trail start in Aeschi, and you can pick up the clue list at the tourist office.

The Waeschi Trail begins in Aeschiried and can be started at the first post, near the old school house, where you can also pick up a treasure map.

Treasure Hunt Trails

Whoever wants to hunt for treasure in Aeschi will not be disappointed.  Along the way there are many little surprizes waiting to be discovered!

Whoever wants to hunt for treasure in Aeschi will not be disappointed. Using the path description and the treasure map you will be able to find the posts and answer the questions correctly. Along the way there is a lot to discover, puzzle over and figure out! There is a longer treasure hunt route – crack the combination code  - and a shorter one - Seeholzwald. The routes differentiate themselves in the level of difficulty of the questions and the duration on the trail.

Depending on the length of the chosen route, you will be able to open the big treasure chest using the code you work out to open the coded lock, or alternately you may chose something from the little treasure chest. If you like, you can hand in your answer card and we will pop it in the “Cheese Chest” ("Chäs-Chessi"), where it will stay until the main prize draw at the end of the year. Who knows, maybe you will get lucky and win one of the three main prizes!

The question card for the treasure hunt is available at the tourist office.
But beware: presents will not be sent in the mail!  If the tourist office is closed, you can get the papers for the treasure hunt at the kiosk.

Puzzle trail

If you go on a riddle trail in Aeschi, you will also be surprised. With the route description without numbers and a small booklet, you will be able to find your way around and answer the questions correctly. Puzzles, searching, puzzling, observing, calculating and logical thinking are required on the two new puzzle trails! Are you ready for your new challenge? The puzzle trails are available in long and short versions. They tend to go over open terrain, across fields and meadows (close to the well-known Bänkli trail between Aeschi and Aeschiried). The two routes differ mainly in the difficulty of the questions and the duration of the trail.

Depending on the length of the chosen route, you can choose something from the large treasure chest or the small treasure chest. We put the answer cards in the "Chäs-Chessi", where they remain until the main prize draw at the end of the year.

The booklets for the puzzle trails with the route plan are available from the tourist office. (If the tourist office is closed, the documents for the puzzle trails can be collected from the kiosk. Please note: gifts are not sent by post).

A sticker can be stuck next to the right picture and then you continue to the next post. Time flies on this little walk. Waeschi Loop Trail

Go with „Nino“ the dog and Waeschi the racoon in search of the mouse Finja und find out her secret.

The dog Nino is at Waeschi’s place – the racoon – for a visit. Both are very worried. Their friend – the mouse Finja – has been gone for a few days. Finja loves "playing hide n seek" more than anything, but she has never been gone this long before. Nino and Waeschi are quite sure of one thing: something is fishy! After a long search they find a treasure map. Maybe this has something to do with Finja's disappearance?
Do you want to go with Nino und Waeschi on a treasure hunt and do you want to know what happened to Finja? Then go to Aeschiried bus stop at the school house and get yourself a treasure map! Maybe you will find the answer?
